Author Celebration! with a FREEBIE

We had our very first author celebration this Friday!
We had special snacks,
celebrated our authors,
read a special encouraging poem,
and “Cheers”ed!
It was definitely one of the most memorable times so far!
I created this packet because of all the AWESOME ways there are to get students engaged and SO EXCITED about writing this year!  I can’t wait to get to the rest of these!
The packet contains all materials and templates necessary for 10 author celebrations!  It is aligned with 2nd grade specific Common Core Standards but will easily work for a wide variety of grades!
Click the picture to check it out! Check even farther down for a FREEBIE from the packet 🙂
Here are some pictures from our Author Celebration!
One of our awesome authors!

CHEERS! We celebrated with fruit punch today!

Our informational books!  Either “How to” or “All About”

All about the beach!  They did such a FANTASTIC JOB!  I’m even already excited about our next celebration! 🙂

Click below to get your own copy of the poem from the packet for FREE!
