Want to spice up your symbiosis instruction?! Take a peek at this fun way to learn! Commensalism, Mutualism, and Parasitism are the focus of this fun game for the classroom.

– 14 pairs of organisms
– table explaining their relationship (answer key)
– worksheet to extend and reflect on activity.

Pass out cards to students, call the animals, and read the description of their relationship (on the answer key) and the students decide which type of symbiosis it is – mutualism, parasitism, or commensalism.

You can also use this activity in small groups where they make posters. This could be a sort students do and submit their work to you via a picture or it could be done independently!
