iPad Intro – Back to School Activity Perfection

Solving your back to school activity problems! So you want something fun not too time consuming and will learn about students that will make a great display – got ya covered! This iPad Intro is perfect for upper elementary students….let me tell you why!

1. Time

As a teacher time is huge! The beginning of the year is perfect to get to know your students but can be overwhelming for some. I wasn’t a fan of standard back to school activities and found I really wanted students to have a chance to develop an introduction that I could review!

2. Creativity

Students expressing themselves and having the chance to open that relationship and dialogue from day one is crucial. I love a back to school activity where students have a part and voice that is not always speaking out loud to the class!

Students (and teachers!) love the tech theme and how a little silliness goes a long way – even with middle schoolers.

3. Versatility

It makes sense that not all classrooms are the same. You need to be able to differentiate for your students. With a digital AND paper version you decide what is best for your class.

1 page and a display is awesome. 1 page a day for a week (turned into morning work) and you will know TONS about your students in your room. Independent work is less pressure but still focuses on a fun way to share about each other.

These make such a fun display as well or great to send home digitally for parents. Either version is great for feedback and to initiate dialogue with students.

This goes great as part of Open House as well! Have students start on their work space and come together later to share results!
